Rental terms and conditions
1. Concluding lease agreement with StayNordic AB as an intermediary on behalf of the landlord.
1.1 Orders may be placed in writing, by phone, by email or via one of StayNordics retailers and our website.
1.2. The rental agreement confirms that there is a booking between guest and landlord with StayNordic as intermediary.
1.3. Rental agreement cannot be transferred without StayNordic and the landlord's approval.
1.4. Only StayNordic's terms and conditions apply. Resellers may not enter into agreements that deviate from these terms.
1.5. Rental agreement can only be made with persons at 18 years of age or older.
2. Arrival and departure.
2.1. Arrival can take place no earlier than 16.00 on the day of arrival.
2.2. Departure must be made no later than 10:00 on the day of departure.
3. Holiday accommodation and plot
3.1 Setting up a caravan, tent or similar is not allowed at the rented object.
3.2. The number of persons shall not exceed the number stated in the description of the house.
3.3. As a guest, you are obliged to compensate for possible damages or other that occurred in the house during your stay.
4. Payment, cancellation and rebooking
4.1. The booking is binding immediately after the booking. At the time of booking, 40% of the total rental amount must be paid. No later than 42 days before arrival, the full amount must be received by StayNordic. If the booking is made 42 days or closer to arrival, the full amount must be paid immediately.
4.2. If you wish to change your booking, rebooking can be done at a cost of 30% of the price of the old booking and full payment of the new booking up to 31 days before arrival. If made 30 days or closer payment of 100% needs to be made on both bookings.
4.3. In case of cancellation 43 days and prior before arrival, 40% of the price must be paid and in case of 42 days or less to arrival, 100% must be paid. 5. Defects, complaints and remedy
5.1. In the event that the tenant is not satisfied with their accommodation, StayNordic must be notified as soon as possible. If the tenant intends to demand financial compensation due to a deficiency at or around the cottage, this claim must be sent in writing to StayNordic within 48 hours after the tenant has established the deficiency that gave rise to the dissatisfaction. If this does not happen within the stipulated time, the tenant loses his opportunity for financial compensation. StayNordic should have a reasonable amount of time to solve the problem.
5.2. In addition to this agreement, only Swedish law applies.
5.3. By court is the district court closest to where the house is located.
6. Further information
6.1. One child under 4 years old is allowed in addition to the number of people in the description.
6.2. Consumption of water, electricity, firewood or other is settled directly with the landlord or his representative if nothing else is announced.
6.3. The landlord has the right to charge a deposit for handing over the key.
6.4. The guest whose name is on the reservation must show a valid identity document at check-in.
7. Force Majeure
7.1. If StayNordic and / or the landlord are prevented or substantially restricted in the performance of their obligations under the agreement due to force majeure and / or other extraordinary events even if they were foreseeable at the time of booking, StayNordic and / or the landlord have the right to terminate the agreement without neither StayNordic nor the landlord shall be held liable for not having fulfilled their obligations under the agreement. StayNordic has the right to terminate the agreement on behalf of the landlord or the tenant. In the event of a terminated agreement StayNordic may demand payment on behalf of the landlord to cover costs that StayNordic has incurred and for costs linked to the termination of the stay. Neither StayNordic nor the landlord can be held responsible for changed circumstances that do not relate to the holiday home, such as noise or other forms from for example construction work or similar activity.
8. Data security
8.1 When you create a guest profile, make an inquiry or booking, StayNordic handles the information you have entered such as address, name, travel company composition, address, telephone number and e-mail, payment information, period of stay, accommodation. We treat your information in order to carry out the reservation, indicate your status of your reservation and payment, as well as the offense of necessary information regarding your stay. Furthermore, information on booking and inquiries is used in the development of analysis and strategy with the aim of improving our business.
When you sign up for StayNordic's newsletter, it means that you give your consent and approve subscription to newsletters. Newsletters are sent to the email that you have specified in connection with subscribing to newsletters and you are automatically included in StayNordic's data register for newsletters. Via StayNordic's newsletter, you will be able to take advantage of current offers regarding our services and products. You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time via email or phone.
It is your right to have access to your personal data. You have access to your personal information via your guest profile where you have the option of reviewing it. In your profile you can change your personal data and are obliged to update your personal data immediately in the event of a change or incorrect information. You also have the opportunity to contact us at StayNordic by phone or email.
In accordance with the data protection legislation within the ESS and the applicable legislation on the protection of personal data, you have the right to exercise your rights of access, correction, restriction of processing, objection, deletion and data portability by sending your request to the following address: hello@staynordic.se
Note! Necessary information in a business agreement such as a rental agreement is not removed. You also have the right to contact and submit a complaint to the Information Commissioner's Office if you are dissatisfied with our processing of your personal data and believe that we are doing so incorrectly. If necessary, and to meet our legal obligations and to comply with the provision of our service, we will communicate information about you to third parties such as public authorities, partners (booking portals, insurance companies, credit card companies) and other agencies and parties where communication is necessary to fulfill the provision of the said service (we in turn require that these third parties do not use your personal information for any other purpose.)
Failure to provide the information to the above authorities and parties means that the provision of services can not be met.
We are committed to the issue of security for your personal data. We strive to protect the information you provide us against loss and misuse as well as from unauthorized disclosure or access. These measures take into account the sensitivity of the information we collect, process and store, as well as the updated technology. The system we use is secured with Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.
Due to communication and information technology nature, we can not guarantee that information during its transmission over the Internet or during storage in our system or otherwise, at our expense, is completely safe from intrusion by others.
If you are concerned that any of your data has been compromised, please contact our customer support department immediately and explain why you believe your information has been compromised. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to prevent unauthorized access.
We store your personal data for as long as is deemed necessary and in accordance with existing legislation. After the term of the storage period, your personal data will be deleted.
