Description
Cozy cottage with convenient parking directly outside the door. When you enter, you have an open plan kitchen and living room, which makes it feel spacious. The kitchen is fully equipped for a comfortable holiday. The living room has large windows facing the lake and here there is a comfortable sofa bed where two of the sleeping places are. TV with chromecast is available.
Via the patio door you come out onto the large patio deck that runs around half the house. Here you can sit and relax during the day and have cozy barbecue dinners. In the bedroom there is a family bed, where the lower bed is 140 cm and the upper bed 90 cm and behind the drapery you have storage options. Nice and fresh bathroom with shower. In a few minutes you go down to Lake Flaten, where you will find the jetty and the rowing boat if you would like to take a fishing trip on the lake. Fishing license must be purchased.
The house is close to SE05044, SE05071 and SE05072 which can be rented at the same time if you are many.
To see and do in Virserum and the surrounding area
Around the corner from the house, a family runs a cozy little pizzeria and bakery called "Bageriet Björkaholm" where you can buy really good Italian and French pizzas, flammkuchen or why not fresh rolls for breakfast.
You can drive to Virserum in just a few minutes. Here you will find a grocery store, a pizzeria, art museums and the Dackestupet ski area with the opportunity to indulge in trail cycling, technical training, bike tours, trail running and various hikes along trails.
Take the children to Astrid Lindgren World in Vimmerby, about 20 minutes away, and visit Pippi Longstocking and Emil in Lönneberga, among others. Meet the moose in the park in Virum. Here you can go into the enclosure and pet the moose. If you want to wash gold and go into a closed old mine, you can go to Kleva mine.
You can also go to the beautiful coastal town of Västervik and take a boat trip out into the fantastic archipelago.

This nice and fresh cottage is located on a plot of land next to the nice lake Flaten in a quiet location. Here you have a nice place for really nice relaxation. Via the veranda you enter a hall where you can hang your clothes and to the left you will find the luxurious fully tiled bathroom which is equipped with both a shower and a toilet. Via the hall you reach the one bedroom which has a bunk bed with a lower bed of 120 cm and an upper bed of 80 cm and from the window you look out over the lake. Next to this bedroom is the practical kitchen, which is equipped with both stove, built-in oven, microwave and fridge/freezer. The living room is furnished with a comfortable sofa, a dining area and a small wood stove that you can light when needed. The roof is open to the ridge and has dimmable lighting to create a cozy atmosphere in the evenings. Via the openable glass door you reach the paved patio outside. In the larger bedroom you will find a double bed. Via the living room you reach a larger insulated glazed conservatory with a panoramic view of the lake. A little nice red cottage outside Virserum with a peaceful environment. When you enter the house, you enter a small hall. You then enter the kitchen with an adjacent dining room. In the living room, you can sit and cozy up in front of the small wood-burning stove. Upstairs you will find four bedrooms where there is a double bed in one of them and a single bed each in the other three. Two of the rooms are walk-through rooms. The bathroom is also located upstairs. The house is located in a nice and beautiful environment with proximity to a nice bathing lake. To see and do in Virserum and the surrounding area In Virserum you will find grocery stores and pizzerias. For those interested in culture, Virserum's art gallery, Sweden's only telemuseum, dressin cycling are also located here. For those more interested in the outdoors, there is the Dackestupet ski area with the possibility of mountain biking, trail running and various hikes along trails. The theater park "Astrid Lindgrens Värld" in Vimmerby is about 30 minutes away by car. Fantastic performances are offered here with, among others, Pippi Longstocking and Ronja Rövardotter. Kalles Lek & Latjo playland is also located in Vimmerby. For those interested in motorcycles, a visit to the MX World Collection is a must. One of Europe's largest motocross/motorcycle museums.
