This cozy wilderness apartment offers peace and quiet, perfect for those who want to get away from the noise of the city.
The accommodation can accommodate up to 6 people - a bedroom with two single beds, a sofa bed for two in the living room, as well as an extra single bed and a cot (for children under 12 years old). The kitchen is functional and equipped with extra work surfaces for cooking.
Outside there is a lovely barbecue area with a view of meadows and forest - an ideal place for long summer evenings.
With a little luck, you may see moose roaming past at dusk.
The location is very secluded, with only the railway about 100 meters away as a reminder that the outside world exists.
Close to everything: Mellerud's center with shops and services, a beautiful golf course and the popular Vita Sandar on the shore of Lake Vänern - a child-friendly swimming area with a shallow sandy beach.
Affordable nature holiday with simple standards and lots of charm - perfect for the nature lover.

Here you are warmly welcome to a lovely cottage by the Vänern beach and with a fantastic panoramic view. The holiday home has 3 cozy bedrooms, 2 of which are inside the house, one with a double bed and one with a double bed and a single bed. In addition, there is a bunk bed with 2 sleeping places in the associated annex. The house has an open plan between the living room and the pleasant, functional kitchen. There is also a fresh bathroom here. From the terraces that surround the house you can enjoy the beautiful lake view and a relaxing stay. Things to do in Mellerud and the surrounding area The holiday home is secluded with its own beach for exciting swimming and fishing excursions on Lake Vänern. Boat is available for rent from the host. Here you are only a short walk from Vita Sandar's campsite with swimming pools, a family-friendly sandy beach and many activities. Dalsland's forests offer wonderful nature experiences and there are plenty of trails for both hiking and cycling, e.g. in the nearby Kroppefjäll nature reserve. There are also a lot of berries and mushrooms here, plus the occasional moose. If you like excursions, you should take the opportunity to visit the Aqueduct in Håverud and their Canal Museum, which attracts many visitors all year round. If you want to taste real Dalsland bread cakes, you can visit Hamrane Bak and Kaffestuga. A boat trip on Dalsland's canal is also a must when visiting the area. Nice holiday home with simple interior design. There is a bedroom with a double bed and a large living room with two double sofa beds. Functional kitchen and bathroom. Well-sized garden for play and games with an endless view of the Dalsland agricultural landscape. Things to see and do in Mellerud and the surrounding area Here you are close to Vänern's playa in Vita Sandar with a fine, shallow sandy beach that is suitable for families with children. There are also great fishing opportunities as Sweden's largest inland sea, Lake Vänern, contains 49 different fish species, everything from Whitefish, Pike to Perch. Only 17 km. to Örsjön, a nice bathing lake at the foot of the Kroppefjäll nature reserve which is also suitable if you like hiking. On the mountain there are endless walking paths in a unique landscape. Great opportunities to find berries, mushrooms and to see the king of the forest, the moose.
